Scott and Seth Avett locked their voices in wistful harmony over backing from acoustic guitar, banjo, cello, violin, upright bass on drums on songs from their latest album, Magpie and the Dandelion, and older tunes including Laundry Room and I and Love and You, both of which appear on their 2009 album I and Love and You.

Seth Avett recently told Rolling Stone that the new album feels like a bunch of fireworks, saying, there is some sort of sparkly-eyed wonderment to Magpie.
