Muse Will Play at World War Z Premiere


Muse will perform to a crowd of 15,000 in London after the premiere of zombie thrillerWorld War Z, according toBillboardreports.which will be equal parts full-scale concert and film premiere

The film features 14 minutes of Muses music, mostly the song Isolated System from the trios latest album, The 2nd Law. The band will perform at the Horse Guards Parade Ground in St. James Park following the film screening in Leicester Square.

It made the movie feel and sound really cool, said Randy Spendlove, president of Paramount Pictures movie music division. After we layered in the music, we reached out to their management in the U.S. and the U.K. to see how we could reach beyond the movie. We wanted (the relationship) to be bigger than that.

Marc Beltramis score will be the soundtrack release, but Muses music will be used for trailers on all platforms.

World War Z, starring Brad Pitt, centers around a former United Nations investigator (Pitt) as he travels around the world trying to end a pandemic threatening to obliterate mankind, opens in theaters on June 21st.
