Better Batmen Than Ben Affleck: See Whos a Better Fit for the Role

Plot details for the movie, which written by Chris Terrio from a screenplay by David S. Goyer, are still unknown. But the movie-industry trade mag points out that the Dawn of Justice subtitle suggests continuity into the yet-untitled Justice League movie that director Zack Snyder (300,Watchmen), who is helming this film, has signed on to lead.Last week, Snyder tweeted the first picture of Affleck in costume, featuring the star in full brood.

Last years announcement that Affleck would portray Batman met a lot of derision online. The actor was able to laugh it off on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon in September saying If I can handle the Emmy snub, I can handle anything but he later admitted feeling some wariness about playing such an iconic character. Initially I was reluctant, as I felt I didnt fit the traditional mold, he said in an interview with 411Mania.com. But once Zack showed me the concept, and that it would be both different from the great movies that Chris [Nolan]and Christian [Bale] made but still in keeping with tradition I was excited.
