Sigur Ros have already booked a cameo forGame of Thrones upcoming fourth season, but that brush with the HBO fantasy epic wasnt enough for the Icelandic art-rockers. Martin that soundtracked the jaw-dropping Red Wedding episode (which Rolling Stoneranked as the bestTV moment of 2013).

Like the National (who also recorded a version of Castamere), Sigur RosThroneslove runs deep: The trioeven posed with Martin for an adorable gang photo posted on their Instagram. (One can only hope the author joins the band, replacing recently departed multi-instrumentalist Kjartan Sveinsson.)

Game of Throneswill kick off its fourth season on April 6th with an episode titled Two Swords. As fans have gathered from the seasons various trailers, these new episodes will feature plenty of sword-fighting, betrayal and CGI dragons. Heavy stuff, but that didnt stop filmmaker Garrison Dean from reimagining the series as a laugh-track-driven Seventies sitcom.
