Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice served as the centerpiece of Jimmy Kimmels post-Oscars special as Ben Affleck sat down to talk about the upcoming blockbuster and premiere a (fake) deleted scene from the film featuring the late-night host.
The scene plays on the movies out-of-costume confrontation at an art gallery between Afflecks Bruce Wayne and Henry Cavills Clark Kent, with Kimmel appearing as an obnoxious partygoer who instantly recognizes the duo without their costumes on. Kimmel continues to tell anyone who will listen that these two men are the Man of Steel and the Dark Knight, even broadcasting the encounter on Periscope. Kimmel then alerts the partys host, Jesse Eisenbergs Lex Luthor, that two superheroes are in the house.
The breaking point comes when Kimmel leads the art gallery in a rendition of Soulja Boys Crank That (Superman dat ho), which makes Clark Kent breakout of character in order to throw Kimmel across the solar system. The late-night host lands on Mars, where he meets an old adversary.
Affleck also appeared as a guest on the show witha twist: After walking onto the set in what appeared to be a fat suit, the actor turned out to be hiding Matt Damon, a longtime pseudo-adversary of Kimmel who attended couples therapywith the host last year.
