Clubber Lang Jr. (Tracy Morgan) aims to avenge his father Mr. Ts defeat against Rocky Balboa in Clubber, a fake Creed sequel trailer that aired Sunday night during Jimmy Kimmel Live!s post-Oscars show. Ive been fighting my whole life, Morgan says in the intro. Fighting the people who said I couldnt fight, fighting my demons, fighting the lady in the Wendys drive-thru cause she wouldnt give me extra dipping sauce. All I asked for was extra honey mustard!
Kimmel shows up as Clubber Jr.s trainer, motivating him to redeem his family name. But the boxer faces some extra adversity, including a pissed-off gym owner (J.K. Simmons) and a confused training regimen that includes stabbing the punching bag and guzzling raw Cadbury eggs. His biggest challenge is found in the ring, when he squares off against his own father, Clubber/Mr. T (Mike Tyson), who instruct him to quit the jibber-jabber.
The trailer informs us that Clubber will hit theaters this summerif only it werent a gag.
