Fox has picked up a new sitcom with Andy Samberg called Brooklyn Nine-Nine, which finds the former Saturday Night Live star playing one half of a mismatched police duo alongside Andre Braugher, the Los Angeles Times reports.
The single-camera comedy was produced by Parks and Recreations Dan Goor and Michael Schur, and marks Sambergs return to network TV, though he recently appeared in the BBC show Cuckoo, which premiered last fall.

Brooklyn Nine-Nineis one of five new comedies Fox announced for its 2013-14 season. The network also scooped up Dads, a new show from Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane in which Seth Green and Giovanni Ribisi play best friends whose dads suddenly move back in with them.
The network also picked up Surviving Jack, which stars Law & Order: SVUs Christopher Meloni as a dad living in southern California in the 1990s, and is based on the semi-autobiographical bookI Suck at Girlsby Justin Halpern, author ofShit My Dad Says.The networks two other comedies are Enlisted, about brothers on a Florida army base; and Us & Them, a adaptation of the hit British sitcom Gavin & Stacey.
As for dramas, Fox has ordered Almost Human, a show produced by J.J. Abrams and set 25 years in the future, when human cops work alongside robots. The network also picked up Gang Related, a law enforcement drama set in Los Angeles; Rake, which stars Greg Kinnear as a defense attorney with a destructive personal life; and a sci-fi tinged adaptation of Sleepy Hollow, which finds Ichabod Crane revived 250 years after his death to solve a historical mystery.
