Bryan Cranston Drops Breaking Bad Hints on Colbert

Bryan Cranston was full of interesting information last night on The Colbert Report, where he hinted at what happens in the final eight episodes of Breaking Bad, mused on the origins of his character Walter White and explained why he so often appears onscreen in tighty-whities.

Walter Whites Lowest Lows on Breaking Bad

As for Breaking Bad, Cranston played along when Stephen Colbert said he had been told what happens on the show. So you already know that Jesse Pinkman had a sex change operation? Cranston joked, referring to Whites lieutenant and apprentice, played by Aaron Paul.

Cranston said in conversation that one of his earlier gigs in the entertainment industry was doing voice-overs for villains on the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series. That was the birth of Heisenberg right there, Cranston said, using Walter Whites street name.

Jokes aside, Cranston described Breaking Bad as the greatest professional experience of my life. He also talked in general terms about how the show really concludes. The ending is actually very satisfying to Breaking Bad fans, Cranston said. Its unapologetic, its very Breaking Bad. We hug, we kiss, we forgive each other, we sing Kumbaya.'
