Writer-director Jason Reitman has a gift for the comic and calamitous in everyday life (see Juno, Up in the Air). But hes lost his touch in Men, Women & Children, a scolding sermon on the evils of the Internet. Dad (Adam Sandler) is addicted to porn. So is his son (Travis Tope). The smut is so good they cant get it up for real women. Mom (Rosemarie DeWitt) resorts to a Web escort service to cheat on Dad. Another mom (Judy Greer, terrific despite the material) posts near-naked photos of her underage daughter online. Yet another mother (Jennifer Garner) monitors her daughter (Kaitlyn Dever) so severely that the girl has to find a secret digital outlet just to talk to her boyfriend (Ansel Elgort). OK, Ill stop. But the movie doesnt. Preacher Reitman wont be satisfied till we stomp our smartphones. LOL. WTF.
